Since past five years, I have been studying multiple aspects of language acquisition through the perspectives of social sciences, philosophy of language and cognitive science.
I have particularly worked on pedagogy of language as a critical analysis of English language acquisition process of students from vernacular backgrounds. This work was followed with research on language acquistion as a dialogical study in cognitive science where I studied the role of cognitive tools in SLA at the level of higher education in India.
My current research interest revolves around studying unaddressed aspects of Ludwig Wittgenstein’s and Maurice Merleau Ponty’s work on phenomenological lens to understand language and its nature. I have also worked on couple of projects on dance and art perception.
