My doctoral work is on the role of statistical regularities of the environment on selective attention and inferential aspects of perceptual processes. My primary concern is on the modulation of attentional and perceptual processes when an agent acts in noisy environment. Apart from my research work, my major interest is in traveling, I am a nature enthusiast and occasionally goes for forest trekking. My other academic interests are in history of cricket and political analysis. In my college days I was political activist and I critically reads and analyze political events.
